Getting started
Tap + (bottom-right) to add your first person — name, documented birthday, Chinese zodiac, contact info, locations, parents, and spouses/partners.
Viewing a profile
Tap anyone's card to open their full profile — photo, dates, contact info, and how they connect to the rest of the family. Tap Edit there to update their details, or swipe to move through the tree:
Up/down to a child/parent · left/right to a sibling
Views
- Traditional Tree — the classic generation-by-generation layout, parents above children.
- Chronological Tree — everyone lined up by birth year, with a year ruler along the left edge.
- Zodiac Tree — grouped into columns by Chinese zodiac sign.
- Centric View — concentric rings around one person, showing everyone else's age or location relative to them. Tap a ring member to recenter on them; use the Age/Location switch (top-left) to change what the rings measure.
Finding your way around
Drag to pan, pinch or scroll to zoom. Tap the compass button (bottom-right) any time to fit everyone back on screen. Tap the magnifying glass to search for someone by name.
Zodiac-adjusted birthdays
Some documented birthdays in the family aren't accurate — but the Chinese zodiac sign someone was actually born under usually is. Enter both, and their profile shows the documented birthday (Doc.:) alongside a zodiac-corrected one (Zodiac:), calculated as the closest birth year matching that sign. When the two already agree, only one date is shown.
Couples
In Traditional and Chronological view, married couples or partners share one card, with each partner's dates, zodiac, and contact info shown side by side.
In the Zodiac and Centric Views, each person has their own single card view.
